How do we know if the Pool Heater is working?

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. The fan should be blowing colder air from the top than the outside temperature
  2. Place your hand in front of one of the pool jets – you should feel warmer water than the pool water
  3. After 15 – 20 minutes of runtime, there should be water draining from the base of the heater

My Pool display is blank

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. There may be no power to your heater. Check to see if breaker is tripped off (or if your unit has fuses, check for bad fuses & replace if necessary)
  2. Component inside heater has failed – call for service

The Indicator on my pool heater reads “Low Flow”

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. The pool heater may have a dirty filter that needs to be replaced
  2. The heater valves may be set incorrectly, or the by-pass valve may be open too far

The Indicator on my pool heaters reads “Low Refridgerant”

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Call for Service – there may be a refrigerant leak in the system
